“The pants are from Urban Outfitters, the bra from Forever 21, the jacket thrifted. My style is inspired by my daily mood. Some days I feel really colorful and some days I prefer a more muted style. A lot of people come to Afropunk and put on a completely different persona, but I wanted to dress in a way that was completely me. An outfit you could totally see me wearing on a normal day. After all, Afropunk to me personifies total self expression.”
